A Quick Guide for New & Prospective RV Park Tenants

If you are looking at joining PLGC or this is your first season in the RV Park, the following information is for you:

Our leases cover April 1st through March 31st annually and this is the time period we refer to as our “year”.

In mid to late February, we send all returning tenants a copy of the upcoming lease agreement which includes an individual, itemized list of fees due based on what you spent with us last year. At this point if you would like to make any changes you can contact us by email, and we can make those adjustments for you (e.g. adding trail fees for a new golf cart, going from a single golf membership to a couple's membership etc.).

Signed leases and all park fees for the upcoming season are due by April 1st of the year.

Electricity in the RV Park is turned off all winter during the off-season but is turned on again in the RV Park on April 1st. Water generally is turned on in the Spring after one week of nightly above-freezing temperatures, typically this is in early to mid-May, but it depends on the weather. Our annual tenants are welcome to stay overnight on their sites any time after April 1st through the summer season.

The PLGC golf course usually opens around mid-May if we have typically warm spring weather. In mid-May we prepare individual tenant packages that contain our tenant’s counter-signed leases, golf memberships, and trail fees/cart passes for the season that tenants can pick-up from the golf course Snack Shack.

Our busiest times of the year in the RV Park are July & August. As such, our annual RV tenants have the perk to book golf tee times before public golfers. We also host golf tournaments & events at PLGC as well throughout the season.

After mid-September, most of our tenants pack up their sites for the winter.

The golf course usually closes in early October. We require time to put the golf course to bed before snowfall which means we empty the irrigation lines on the golf course, treat the greens and tee boxes and do any other work needed on the golf course to ensure it's in the best shape possible to come back healthy next spring.

At the same time around Thanksgiving, water is shut off in the RV Park as we then empty the water lines in the RV park and winterize the facilities before freeze-up.

We turn off power to the RV Park on October 30th.

PLGC is not a year-round RV park, and although you are welcome to check on your RV during the winter, we ask that you do not occupy your RV again until April. There is no overnight camping in the Park during the winter off-season.

Is there firewood available for purchase?

Yes, you may purchase firewood from us.

Is there any additional cost for water, power or sewer?

Water, power and sewer are all included with our annual RV site fees.

Are there rules around upgrading/changing out our existing RV if we buy a new trailer?

No issue with this, we had several tenants upgrade their RV last year. We ask that RV’s being brought into the Park onto an annual lease site be newer than 15 years old.

We do not offer WiFi at this time. Cell coverage is good as there is a booster tower on our property.

We have a few vacant RV sites available now for annual lease. They can be found here.

What is your seasonal RV Site lease rate for 2024 and what does that include?

Please review the 2024 PLGC Lease Agreement for this information and our fees.
